Getting Started – Waiver of Liability

When you arrive for your scheduled service bay rental, we’ll first ask you to show a photo ID and sign a release of liability agreement. All our customers must understand and acknowledge that U Lift N’ Fix Garage will not be held responsible or liable for injuries sustained by the customer while using our shop, tools or equipment.

Safely Using Tools & Equipment

Only our technicians are permitted to place vehicles onto our automotive lifts, operate the lifts, and remove vehicles from the lifts. Customers are not permitted to re-position the lift once their vehicle has been placed onto it. Also, A/C recharges must also be performed only by our staff. It’s highly recommended that safety glasses be worn when performing automotive work, so they’re provided to any customer who doesn’t have their own. Borrowed safety glasses must be returned upon checkout.

Using the right tool for the job helps ensure equipment won’t be damaged, and customers are responsible to properly, safely, and responsibly use all tools and equipment provided. Tools must be returned clean and in good condition, and no tools are allowed to be taken from the shop premises.

Getting Technical Advice

While ‘DIY’ means do-it-yourself, we know our customers aren’t professional mechanics and will sometimes encounter things they’re not familiar with during a service or repair. We don’t want to see you doing things incorrectly or wasting your service bay time struggling with something you don’t know how to do. For that reason, our experienced technicians are ready to provide counsel and answer questions you may have at no extra charge. If it appears the job you want to do may be outside your ability, we can discuss where to go from there.

Booking Time

When 6 hours or less of service bay time is booked, you pay only for the time you use. If booking more than 6 hours, you’ll be billed for the full amount of time booked even if less is used.  Check with us for availability if you need more than a 6-hour reservation for your repair.
